McGavock Developing Lubbock Infiniti Dealership

McGavock Auto Group broke ground on a new, 26,000-square-foot Infiniti dealership at 6325 Spur 327, in front of the Lubbock, TX convention center. The dealership should be finished, and open, in late 2016, and will be West Texas’ only Infiniti dealership.

McGavock, which runs a Nissan dealership in town, said that the Infiniti version would be high-end, complete with a café, putting green and drive-through car wash. Dealer principal Brent McGavock said the auto group worked for 15 years to get an Infiniti dealership in Lubbock. “Time and time again, (Infiniti) told us they just didn’t think Lubbock had the market for it, but as Lubbock is growing and expanding we were able to convince them,” he said.
