McDermott Law Firm Commits to Four Floors at One Vanderbilt

SL Green Realty Corp. has moved closer to its goal of having One Vanderbilt Ave. 37% pre-leased by year’s end, with the signing of McDermott Will & Emery LLP. The law firm has signed a 20-year lease for 105,539 square feet over four floors at One Vanderbilt, and will relocate its New York operations there in 2020.

“Global business leaders like McDermott Will & Emery are choosing One Vanderbilt because it offers the most advanced and amenitized new office construction right at the doorstep to Grand Central Terminal,”,” said Andrew Mathias, president of SL Green. “The momentum we’re seeing at One Vanderbilt, two years ahead of opening, reaffirms East Midtown’s position as the premier business destination in New York.”

NKF’s Moshe Sukenik and Noel Flagg represented McDermott. The CBRE team of Robert Alexander, Sarah Pontius, Ryan Alexander and Emily Jones represented SL Green.
