McCraney Nabs 44 Acres in Orlando, Plans 653K-SF Spec Industrial Development

McCraney Property Company, one of the most active private industrial developers in Central Florida, purchased roughly 44 acres at the crossroads of FL-429 and Florida’s Turnpike in Ocoee, FL. The developer plans to break ground in mid-May 2018 on Distribution 429, a 652,696-square-foot speculative industrial park spanning three buildings.

The new exterior look of the development aligns with a view that industrial is the new retail, including McCraney’s signature clean facades and high-finish warehouse design and technological advances. The project is expected to appeal to quality end-users requiring freight forwarding, third-party logistics (3PL), and fulfillment needs.

Planned buildings include:
– Building 100: 104,950 square feet
– Building 200: 145,164 square feet
– Building 300: 402,582 square feet

Lee & Associates’ William “Bo” Bradford represented the unnamed seller in the transaction.

This industrial project brings McCraney’s developments under some form of construction in Florida, Georgia, and the Carolinas to more than seven million square feet.
