McCoy Corp. Announces Retrofit on 103K-SF Facility

The McCoy Corp., which oversees the McCoy’s Building Supply stores, has opted to expand its door and millwork in New Braunfels, TX. To that end, the operation will retrofit an existing 102,940-square-foot industrial space and hire up to 38 more employees. McCoy acquired the 1990s facility, situated on 9.7 acres at 710 FM 306, in September 2019.

The company’s headquarters and facility at 3194 N. Interstate 35 in San Marcos supplies interior and exterior pre-hung door units to more than 70 retail locations, which are in more than 50 Texas markets. The new facility will provide McCoy with an increase in warehouse space and production capacity.

McCoy will invest $5.75 million into the retrofit process. The New Braunfels Economic Development Corp. will grant a job-creation, performance-based incentive of $250,000 for the hire of the new employees.
