McCarthy Cook Acquires Mesa Warehouse Facility

Jeff Arnold sold the Tailwinds at the Gateway Industrial Complex in Mesa for $51 million or about $300 a square foot. McCarthy Cook & Co. was the buyer.

Tailwinds at Gateway is a 172,244-square-foot Class A Industrial Complex in the Southeast Submarket of Phoenix. It consists of four Multi-Tenant and six Single-Tenant Freestanding Buildings with nationally and internationally recognizable tenants such as Hermle USA, United Resin, ABB Inc., Crane Worldwide Logistics, Vortex Industries, and Falcon Engineering Corp. The property was 100% occupied at the time of the sale.

Cory Breinholt and Cory Sposi, along with David Bean and Kelli Jelinek of Commercial Properties Incorporated, represented the seller. McCarthy Cook & Co. was the buyer of this deal.

This transaction is the first small-bay industrial investment in Phoenix for McCarthy Cook & Co., and its re-entry into the Phoenix market after selling a 1 million square foot office portfolio in 2017.
