McCaffery’s Twelve01West Delivered to Fulton Market

Twelve01West, McCaffery Interests’ Class A office development in the Fulton Market District, is substantially complete, general contractor W.E. O’Neil Construction said.

The 147,000-square-foot project at 1201 W. Lake St. is reportedly the first in Fulton Market to receive a Wired Silver certification from WiredScore. The New York-based WiredScore, which devised an international rating system for technological capacity in commercial properties, expanded to Chicago last spring.

When it opens, TwelveO1West will offer 135,000 square feet of office space, with 24,000-square-foot floorplates. There will also be approximately 12,000 square feet of retail.

McCaffery, owner of the property in partnership with New York Life, said the configuration of Twelve01West’s core and columns allows for a corridor on only one side of the core. This will provide tenants additional flexibility and usable space.

The property is being leased by a JLL team of Michael Curran, Brad Despot, Craig Coupe and Erica Rogers.
