McAlister GeoScience Expands Services with Orswell & Kasman Acquisition

McAlister GeoScience, an environmental consulting firm specializing in Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) and remediation, has acquired Orswell & Kasman, Inc., a respected provider of ASTM-compliant Environmental Records Research Reports, Risk Assessment Reports, Transaction Screen Reports and Phase I ESAs. Terms were not disclosed.

Founded in 2013 by David McAlister, McAlister GeoScience established offices in Long Beach and Seattle and now adds a Pasadena office as part of the company’s growth. The acquisition expands the McAlister GeoScience team to more than 21 personnel, strengthening their capacity to deliver integrated assessment, remediation and environmental data services across the Western U.S.

The McAlister GeoScience team includes experienced environmental professionals skilled in soil and groundwater characterization, remediation system design and implementation, in situ chemical oxidation, indoor air quality assessment, environmental risk management and regulatory agency interaction. With the acquisition of Orswell & Kasman, McAlister GeoScience now offers a fully integrated suite of environmental due diligence, compliance and remediation services.

About Paul Bubny

Paul Bubny serves as Senior Content Director for Connect Commercial Real Estate, a role to which he brings 16-plus years’ experience covering the commercial real estate industry and 30-plus years in business-to-business journalism. In this capacity, he oversees daily operations while also reporting on both local/regional markets and national trends, covering individual transactions across all property types, as well as delving into broader subject matter. Since 1999, Paul has volunteered as the newsletter editor of passenger rail advocacy groups (one national, one local).
