MCA Realty Acquires Carlsbad Small-Bay Industrial

MCA Realty, Inc. a full-service real estate investment company based in Orange County, acquired a 106,311-square-foot multi-tenant industrial building located at 2270 Camino Vida Roble in Carlsbad for $30.7 million. The firm acquired the property in an off-market transaction from an institutional owner.

MCA Realty will rebrand the property and make select exterior and interior improvements. Cushman & Wakefield’s Conor Boyle and Tyler Stemley have been retained to oversee leasing at the property, currently 95% leased.

“We acquired this project for its infill North County San Diego location and highly desirable small-bay suite sizes,” said Tyler Mattox, principal at MCA Realty. “Furthermore, the North County San Diego market has had robust market fundamentals over the past several years, as there is a lack of supply for small bay industrial multi-tenant product, in addition to limited to construction of this product type, leading to a strong leasing market.”

Bryce Aberg, Conor Boyle and Tyler Stemley of Cushman & Wakefield represented MCA Realty in the acquisition.
