MCA Realty Acquires 138K-SF Seattle-Area Industrial Portfolio

MCA Realty, Inc., a real estate investment company based in California, announced the acquisition of West Valley Distribution Center, a three-building 138,296-square-foot multi-tenant industrial portfolio located in Kent, Washington.

The firm acquired the property from Tamarisk West Valley LLC with its MCA Realty Industrial Growth Fund II. MCA now owns three industrial properties encompassing 268,843 square feet in the Seattle MSA. Newmark’s Andrew Briner, Aaron Banks and Kevin Shannon represented both MCA Realty and the seller in the transaction. The firm’s Taylor Hoff and Thad Mallory have been retained to oversee leasing at the property.

MCA Realty will make significant exterior and interior improvements. It also plans to reconfigure the suites. “This acquisition reflects our view that the Kent Valley will remain an attractive location for industrial occupants,” said Tyler Mattox, Principal at MCA Realty. “The property’s infill location, durable tenant demand, and upside potential make it a compelling addition to our portfolio.”
