MBRE Healthcare Snags 147K-SF Charlotte Office Building

Chicago-based MBRE Healthcare has acquired One South Park Center, a 147,141-square-foot office building in Charlotte’s SouthPark submarket. The sales price was not disclosed. Located at 6060 Piedmont Row Dr. South, the property was 97% occupied at the time of sale. More than half of the building is occupied by tenants in the medical industry.

Patrick Gildea, Matt Smith, Lee Asher, Chris Bodnar, and Grayson Hawkins of CBRE represented the seller, Virginia-based CCP Commercial Real Estate, in the transaction.

“The demand for medical office space has increased in Southpark in recent years, and it will be exciting to watch the transformation of One South Park Center from traditional office space to medical office space,” said Gildea, executive vice president at CBRE.
