May Meditation Be With Salesforce

Salesforce recently announced its plans to consolidate three New York offices into a NYC HQ at 3 Bryant Park in Midtown. Along with that big move, Salesforce CEO Marc Beinoff is putting meditation spaces on each of the five floors in the Salesforce Tower in San Francisco.

After 30 Buddhist monks came to stay with Beinoff and visited the office, they recommended there be a change to provide some quiet space for employees.

Since people are always talking and working in the office, such rooms will offer a quiet reprieve to “not have chit-chat going on in your mind for a few moments,” Beinoff said.
