Maven Commercial Signs Two Dining Concepts at The Aviary
Maven Commercial’s Joan Ruyle has signed two additional concepts for The Aviary, an innovative retail concept located at 499 Ellis in San Francisco. According to the announcement, the location is programmed to create a local dine-in/dine-out destination providing the Tenderloin with food options in a restaurant-starved area of the City. New concepts include:
— The Roost, occupying 1,965 square feet, is a casual café conceived by the Merchant Roots restaurant group, which will feature artisan coffee and baked goods from a rotating mix of local bakers, as well as ready-made lunch fare.
— Halal Cart, occupying 2,158 square feet, opens its first brick-and-mortar space. The family-run operation has owned halal food stalls, trucks and restaurants former than 20 years in Asia and USA.
The pair will join Azalina’s at the location, with all three restaurants opening in this year. A final 7,365-square-foot space remains available at the property.
