Real estate firms are like any other firms in that they need office space. CBRE is announcing that Matthews Real Estate Investment Services has leased 11,188 square feet at The Michelson building in Irvine, Calif.

The 19 stories of The Michelson sit at 3161 Michelson Dr., in the submarket of the John Wayne Airport. Nearby are amenities like walkable retail, a roof-top sky garden for private events and green space. 

According to the news release, CBRE’s Matt Didier, Jessie Tichelaar, Jake Stickel and Rick Warner represented the landlord, Manulife Investment Management, in the transaction. Griffin Farriss with Cresa represented the tenant.
