Matthews Expands to Louisville, Names New Assoc. VP

Matthews Real Estate Investment Services has hired Tim VanWingerden as associate vice president in Louisville. VanWingerden specializes in multifamily investment sales, specifically in Central Kentucky and Southern Indiana.

“Tim fits the Matthews’ culture, mindset, and drive to succeed,” said Managing Director Bill Pedersen. “The exemplary career he’s built in a few years makes him the perfect fit to introduce a Matthews office in Kentucky and continue to build our presence throughout several emerging markets in the region”

VanWingerden began his career at Marcus & Millichap. He closed more than $94 million across 993 units while there.

“I’m thrilled to get to work and utilize Matthews’ resources and support to open an office in Louisville and start recruiting a dedicated group of the state’s best agents within the next 12 months,” VanWingerden said. “The South and Midwest multifamily markets have had a couple of amazing years, and the opportunity just keeps growing.”
