Matthews Brokers Sale of Ohio Industrial Leased to Arm & Hammer

Matthews Real Estate Investment Services brokered the sale of a 488,000-square-foot, single-tenant industrial property, located at 110 E. Jones Rd., Fostoria, OH. The property is currently occupied by global consumer brand Arm & Hammer.

The transaction closed above the final list price at $14,536,000 and was brokered by first VP and senior director Alexander Harrold. Matthews represented the institutional seller, who was interested in taking advantage of the high price points in the current market.

“Arm & Hammer is a strong credit tenant that has operated in the Fostoria market for over 40 years,” said Harrold. “This created a long-term and stable investment opportunity for buyers, which in turn created a competitive bidding environment for my client. We had a diverse group of buyers interested in this investment from private family office to institutional REITs, proving Midwest industrial to be in demand with no signs of slowing down.”
