Matthew L. Brown recently joined Avison Young as senior associate, according to Corey Martin, principal and managing director of Avison Young’s Austin office. Brown is set to team up with Landan Dory on the Austin net lease team alongside the national net lease group led by Jonathan Hipp.

“When I realized that Landan was looking for a partner to help build Austin’s net lease team, and that our long-term vision and philosophies were aligned, I quickly said yes to the opportunity with Avison Young,” said Brown.

A fifth-generation Austinite and sixth-generation Texan, Brown recently returned to his hometown from Dubai, U.A.E where he spent six years working with Savills, MAG Property Development and Candour Property. His accomplishments include broker of the year with Candour Property, sales person of the year with MAG PD and top producer at Savills for three consecutive years with sales in excess of $100 million.

Brown brings more than 20 years of sales and management experience in the commercial real estate and luxury hospitality industries.
