Matt Wersel Leaves CBRE for Mohr Partners
Dallas-based Mohr Partners expanded its leadership team in San Francisco with the addition of Matt Wersel. The 14-year CBRE veteran will join as Managing Partner to lead the company’s expansion throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
Mohr Partners’ Robert Shibuya says, “Matt will be charged with spearheading Mohr Partners growth in the dynamic technology driven San Francisco Bay Area, offering businesses a unique conflict-free, technology-enabled platform to manage their owned and leased property portfolios.”
As a first vice president with CBRE, he initially focused on representing institutional owners/advisors in disposing properties as part of the capital markets group, and then transferred to the brokerage firm’s Silicon Valley tenant and corporate advisory group where he represented technology and financial services firms managing their real estate portfolios around the world. During his career, Wersel has advised leading Fortune 500 technology firms, including Synopsys, OpenText, MapR, Jazz Pharmaceuticals and Luminar Technologies.
