Managing director Matt Fitzgerald oversees growth in the Midwest for Matthews Real Estate Investment Services

Matthews Real Estate Expands Chicago Presence

Matthews Real Estate Investment Services has expanded its Chicago presence, opening a 4,288-square-foot office at 600 W. Fulton St. in the Fulton Market District. The Chicago office is a hub for the firm’s debt and equity services division, Matthews Capital Markets.

Along with the office expansion came the addition of several new hires, including Finley Askin, Ian Luscombe, Brad Barham, John Solari and Jacob Freidman. Combined, the agents tout more than 40 years of commercial real estate experience and expertise.

This office expansion was led by managing director Matt Fitzgerald, who is continuously working to find industry-leading agents and emerging opportunities to grow the Matthews brand. “Our growth in the Midwest and in the capital markets industry are necessary components as we advance as a company,” Fitzgerald said.

Matthews arrived in the Chicago market in late 2021.
