Landsea Homes has broken ground on a new, 489-home project in Fontana, Calif. The master-planned community is to be called Narra Hills.

According to a news release, this will be Fontana’s first master-planned community west of Interstate 15:

Narra Hills is spread across more than 100 acres and backs up to the majestic San Bernardino National Forest. … The community will include five distinct home product types consisting of single-family homes, cluster homes, and townhomes, all in exclusive gated communities.

The community will include 233 detached single-family homes, with 155 on 10,000-square-foot lots, and 78 on 5,000-square-foot lots. Homes will range from one to two stories, up to five bedrooms, four-and-a-half bathrooms, and range from 1,316 to 4,100 square feet. Customizations are available, according to Landsea Homes.

Narrra Hills will also include 127 cluster homes, each of which will feature its own outdoor space. They will be two stories ranging from 2,000 to 2,500 square feet with four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The 129 traditional townhomes will range from 1,300 to 1,800 square feet with options for two or three bedrooms and two to three bathrooms.
