Ft. Lauderdale investors nab $7M construction laon for massive Pickleball stadium/courts

Massive Pickleball Club to Open in Fort Lauderdale

South Florida has been chosen as the site for the first dedicated pickleball stadium and entertainment complex called The Fort. The 10-acre facility will be in Snyder Park, Fort Lauderdale.

Backed by a $7 million construction loan from Centennial Bank, The Fort will feature:

  • 43 Courts: Advanced Playsight technology for live-streaming matches, instant replays, and coaching analysis.
  • Dual Appeal: The Fort is a destination for recreational players and social visitors. It combines a day club with a modern country club.
  • Pro-Level Recognition: The Fort will be the official headquarters and training facility for the Association of Pickleball Professionals (APP).

Located at 891 SW 34 Street, The Fort hopes to attract local players, international tourists, and spectators from nearby ports in Fort Lauderdale and Miami. Membership packages and day passes will be available upon opening, making it accessible to players of all levels.

Brad Tuckman and Rich Campillo are developing The Fort along with the City of Fort Lauderdale.
