Online discount grocer Martie opens Dallas warehouse

Martie Online Surplus Grocery Delivery Service Expands to Texas

Online grocery store Martie is ready to go in its new 38,000 square foot warehouse in Dallas. That one warehouse is enough to serve the entire state with its heavily discounted surplus groceries and household items. It’s designed to prevent waste while saving shoppers up to 70%. Martie’s warehouses are set up for 800-plus SKUs (Stock Keeping Unit).

The company works with popular brands and producers to shop their supplies of surplus pantry goods – mainly items that would otherwise be discarded due to overstock, package changes or seasonality – and then sells them online directly to consumers at a steep discount. Martie shoppers get shelf-stable pantry goods, cooking essentials and household items shipped directly to their doors, with no subscription or membership necessary.

The company’s minimum order is $20. Shipping is free on orders over $50, but otherwise there is a $5.99 and $1.99 processing fee per order.
