Marshall's distribution center opens in El Paso, 1000 hires needed

Marshall’s Distribution Center Ramping Up in El Paso, Creates 1,000 Jobs

Department store company Marshalls recently expanded in El Paso with the opening of a new distribution center.

Marmaxx Operating Corporation, a TJX company that owns Marshalls, Home Goods, and TJ Maxx, opened the center at 3900 Global Reach Dr. in January.

“We are slowly ramping-up operations in the facility, and expect that it will become fully operational later this year,” said TJX’s Andrew Mastrangelo.

The center is expected to create around 1,000 new jobs and is currently hiring for general warehouse and other positions. The project will also create over $31 million in new tax dollars for the community.

The city and county approved tax incentives for the project contingent on the company meeting specific investment and job requirements.
