Marriott-Branded Hotel to Open in Downtown Goodyear
Goodyear may soon be home to an AC Hotel by Marriott. It will be developed by Baywood Hotels. Goodyear is in the top ten of the fastest growing US cities.
The four-story hotel will have 135 guest rooms designed for both business and leisure travelers. It will include a lounge, bar, dining options, a business center, an outdoor pool and 1,200 square feet of meeting space.
The hotel will be in Goodyear Civics Square (GSQ), a partnership between the town and the Globe Corp., a family development business. The family has owned the land since the 1970s and the two are working to attract the right mix of businesses for Goodyear’s downtown which will encompass approximately 150 acres of various restaurants, storefront shopping, diverse housing options and more.
The hotel is expected to open by the end of 2026 and will attract up to 30 permanent jobs once opened.
