TownePlace Hotel headed to Love Field

Marriott-Branded Hotel Slated for Love Field

Love Field will be the site of a new Marriott-branded hotel. A five-story TownePlace Suites will go up where a dated self-storage facility sits just west of the airport. BRP Hospitality owns the site and expects to start construction the first quarter of 2026. The company has a demolition permit to raze the building.

The Dallas Business Journal reports the estimated construction cost for the 68,000-square-foot hotel is $16 million. D1 Architect & Associates Inc. of Dallas is listed as the design firm.

TownePlace Suites is an extended-stay brand of Marriott International Inc. that has 17 existing hotels spread across the Dallas-Fort Worth area, including nearby locations in downtown Dallas and Irving’s Las Colinas. Marriott opened its 500th TownePlace Suites hotel in the U.S. at the end of last year.
