Marquette Companies Buys 236-Unit Rental Community in Lake Bluff

Marquette Companies has acquired Forest Pointe, a 236-unit apartment community in Lake Bluff in Chicago’s North Shore.

Marquette Management will serve as the property manager for the complex located at 29533 N. Waukegan Road. “Forest Pointe is an excellent example of the value-add potential that exists in the Chicago suburbs, especially in markets like Lake Bluff where strong fundamentals and high demand meet a shortage of supply,” said Trevor Ryan, president of Marquette Companies.

Located less than an hour from downtown Chicago, Lake Bluff is home to several Fortune 500 companies, including Abbott Laboratories, which is headquartered across the street from Forest Pointe.

Forest Pointe’s one- and two-bedroom apartments are situated in seven three-story buildings. Marquette will undertake renovations to unit interiors to update finishes and appliances, and enhance the amenity offerings. Forest Pointe joins a portfolio of more than 14,000 apartments managed by Marquette Management.

Join us on Tuesday afternoon, June 2, 2026, at the Connect Midwest Multifamily Trends Conference as JDL Founder, Jim Leitchinger, is honored with the Changing Skyline Award, followed by an exclusive Keynote Interview.
