Market Basket to Anchor 306K-SF Maynard Crossing MXU Development

The 306,000-square-foot Maynard Crossing mixed-use development in Maynard will be anchored by a Market Basket Supermarket. The project is approximately 23 miles west of Boston.

The planned 70,000-square-foot store will feature a full-service butcher and café. The store plans to hire 250 associates.

Maynard Crossing is being developed by LeCesse Development Corp., and will include a 180-unit apartment complex called The Vue at Maynard Crossing, as well as additional retail tenants. A 143-unit senior independent living community is also planned by Hawthorn Retirement Group, which will be called Hawthorn Senior Living. Maynard Crossing is slated for completion by the end of this year.
