Marietta Multifamily Community Trades for $34M

CBRE arranged the $33.6 million sale of The Hamptons at East Cobb, a 196-unit apartment community in Marietta. The property is located at 1523 Roswell Rd.

Kevin Geiger, Shea Campbell, Malcomb McComb, Paul Berry and Ashish Cholia of CBRE represented the seller, Memphis-based Fogelman Properties, in the transaction. The buyer was Cohen Esrey, a Kansas-based investment and asset management firm.

“The East Cobb market has an extremely high barrier to entry for investors due to a lack of developable land and a plethora of single-family homes, which makes Hamptons at East Cobb a rare commodity and great overall investment,” said CBRE’s Geiger. “Interest from the investment community for Atlanta product remains outstanding.”
