Marcus & Millichap Sells Franz Bakery in Yakima, Washington, for $3 Million

Commercial real estate firm specializing Marcus & Millichap just announced the sale of Franz Bakery, in Yakima, Washington, for $3.25 million to a Seattle, Washington-based limited liability company in a 1031-exchange.

The 47,983-square-foot property is located at 31 N. 4th Ave. just a few blocks from downtown Yakima. The deal involves a sale/leaseback agreement, according to Joel Deis, regional manager of the Marcus & Millichap’s Seattle office. The Franz Bakery serves as a distribution center.  

Investment specialists on the Brown Retail Group Team in the Seattle office of Marcus & Millichap, Clayton J. Brown, Peter Nisbet and Ruthanne Romero, exclusively marketed the property on behalf of the seller, a limited liability company.  The buyer was represented by Clayton J. Brown.
