Marcus & Millichap Promotes Cliff David, Steve Gebing to New Leadership Roles

Marcus & Millichap named Cliff David and Steve Gebing executive managing directors, the highest designation an investment professional can attain at the firm. Only 32 of Marcus & Millichap’s more than 2,000 investment sales and financing professionals hold the executive managing director distinction.

Previously, David and Gebing were senior managing directors. They specialize in multifamily investment sales in the Greater Phoenix area with the firm’s Institutional Property Advisors (IPA) division. Business partners and friends for decades, former college roommates have closed $7 billion in multifamily sales on behalf of clients.

“Cliff and Steve have raised the bar for everyone in our industry,” says Marcus & Millichap’s Ryan Sarbinoff. “The tireless energy and enthusiasm they bring every day is an inspiration to all of us.”

David began his career as a sales intern with Marcus & Millichap in 2002. Gebing joined his childhood friend at Marcus & Millichap in 2006 after spending nearly seven years at IBM.
