Adam Sklaver and Phil Kates have joined Marcus & Millichap to lead property auction services

Marcus & Millichap Hires CRE Auction Veterans to Lead Property Auction Services  

Marcus & Millichap said Thursday that Adam Sklaver and Phil Kates had joined the firm as SVPs specializing in property auction services. Sklaver and Kates, who most recently ran CBRE’s auction team, will be responsible for commercial real estate auction sales and securing the best possible prices for sellers in an accelerated time frame.

Parker, EVP and COO of Marcus & Millichap’s Eastern Division and leader of the initiative. “As we continually expand on our tradition of maximizing value for our clients, we are excited to add property auctions to our platform,”  

Sklaver and Kates have 19 years’ combined CRE auction experience and have assisted institutional and private clients in selling more than 600 properties spanning all asset classes via online auctions. Their 95% trade rate is among the CRE auction industry’s highest.
