Marcus & Millichap Debuts Redesigned Company Website

Marcus & Millichap is launching its redesigned company website at www.marcusmillichap.com on Monday. The updated website has a contemporary design, a focus toward transactions along with several added enhancements, ranging from enhanced property search functionality to improved access to the company’s research products, along with expanded mobile capabilities.

With the Calabasas, CA-based commercial real estate services firm being a long-established leader in the private-client space, the key concept behind the redesign is making connections, Greg LaBerge, chief administrative officer at Marcus & Millichap, tells Connect Media. “It’s about connecting clients with the industry’s largest selection of exclusive inventory, it’s about connecting clients with our advisors, it’s about connecting clients with our over 1,000 research reports and other content we produce every year to drive better, more informed investment decisions,” he says.

The redesign has been in the works since last fall, says LaBerge, a process that began by gathering input from clients, agents and members of the cross-functional team that includes marketing and management along with technology.

“Ironically enough, it happens that we’re launching it in the middle of this pandemic, when virtual access to information is more important than ever,” he says. “The angle for us has always been: how do we make those connections? How do we create and make access for our clients easier, faster and better?”

Along with Marcus & Millichap’s internal team, the firm also hired outside specialists in innovative web design and development. “It was important that we follow the same advice we give our clients; specialization produces better results. Our advisors are specialists in investment sales, in property types and in markets. We knew that partnering with an expert would create an effective, innovative site, not only for today, but for really exciting future enhancements to create even greater value for our clients.”

He sums up, “Our clients expect immediate and efficient access to acquisition opportunities, the ability to easily obtain our industry-leading economic and market insights, and a seamless way to connect with our advisors. The needs of our clients drive everything we do, including providing a website tailored to meet their needs.”

It’s a priority to which the Connect Media team can attest. Over the past year, Connect has also worked with several clients on their digital presence through its Connect CREative platform, to include redesign and redevelopment of the Madison Marquette website, with phase 2 in the works, including a virtual property listing element; and putting the finishing touches on the Festival Companies website, including an investment portal.
