Marcus & Millichap Closes Sales in Uptown, Galewood

Marcus & Millichap has arranged two sales in as many days, within the North Side’s Uptown and the West Side’s Galewood neighborhoods. The larger of the two sales was the trade of 4447 N. Broadway St. in Uptown. The 6,000-square-foot mixed-use property sold for $1,010,000.

Anthony Catanese and James Ziegler, both of Marcus & Millichap’s Chicago Downtown office, marketed the property on behalf of the seller and also represented the buyer.

In Galewood, the firm’s Andrean Aneglov, RyanD. Engle and Samuel Antreasian, all of the Marcus & Millichap Oak Brook office, represented the seller of a nine-unit apartment property at 1654 N. Merrimac Ave.

The buyer, who paid $625,000, was represented by Duke Wang, Kyle A. Stengle and Steve Rachman with Marcus & Millichap’s Chicago Downtown office. The 1929-vintage property (pictured) has undergone recent capital improvements.
