Marcus & Millichap Closes on Trade of Bronzeville Retail
Marcus & Millichap arranged the sale of a 21,916-square foot retail center in the South Side’s Bronzeville neighborhood. Shadow anchored by a nearby Walmart, the dual-tenant center traded for $3,390,000 to a family trust out of California.
Adrian Mendoza, Austin Weisenbeck and Sean R. Sharko, all with Marcus & Millichap’s Chicago Oak Brook office, marketed the property on behalf of the seller, a fund manager.
The property is located at 707 E. 47th St. in Bronzeville. It’s anchored by Dollar Tree and One Hope United and shadow anchored by a $46-million mixed-use building, which in turn is anchored by a Walmart Neighborhood Market.
