Marcus & Millichap Brokers Sale of Student Housing Property in DC

Marcus & Millichap announced the $3 million sale of 3305 7th St. NE, a student housing property in Washington, D.C. Located next to The Catholic University of America in the Brookland neighborhood, the building is within walking distance of campus, the Brookland-CUA Metro station and retail and dining.

“Working closely with the seller and all parties was key to closing this transaction in the current market environment,” said Stacey Milam, senior managing director of investments in Marcus & Millichap’s Washington D.C. office. “Smaller, well-located student housing assets like this continue to draw interest from private investors.”

Milam and Selena Alexander Hayes of Marcus & Millichap represented the seller. Built in 2014, the property comprises a 24-bed, six-unit building totaling 6,165 square feet on a 0.11-acre lot. The asset features fully furnished units with shared kitchen and living spaces.
