Marcus & Millichap Brokers Sale of Gilded Age Apartment Building in Hartford

Commercial real estate brokerage firm Marcus & Millichap has brokered the sale of a 28-unit apartment property with 6,650 square feet of retail space located at 385 Main Street in Hartford, CT.

Eric Pentore, Ross Friedel and Wes Klockner of Marcus & Millichap represented the seller, a CT-based private investor, and procured the buyer.

“Multifamily product in downtown Hartford has outperformed expectations,” said Pentore. “385 Main Street, a well-located asset within the Central Business District with historical significance and outstanding curb appeal, will benefit from this positive momentum.”

The five-story apartment building, originally constructed during the Gilded Age, is walkable to numerous employers, restaurants, shopping and entertainment options. The property sits on a 0.34-acre lot and contains unique apartment homes consisting of 25 one-bedroom and three two-bedroom units.
