Marcus & Millichap Brokers $5M Sale of Dupont Circle MF
Marcus & Millichap announced the sale of 1603 19th St. NW, a 14-unit apartment property in Washington, DC’s Dupont Circle, for $4.55 million ($325,000 per unit).
Murray and Marty Zupancic, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap’s Washington D.C. office, represented the seller, The Zehner Family, and procured the buyer, Cedar Realty, LLC. “This property has been in the seller’s family for generations, and we are looking forward to watching the new ownership execute on their value-add strategy for this historic apartment building,” said Ryan Murray, associate with the Zupancic Group of Marcus & Millichap.
1603 19th St. NW, located one block east of Connecticut Avenue and the Dupont Circle Metro Station, spans 22,645 square feet with studio, one- and two-bedroom units. The property, which has an additional entrance at 1819/1821 Q St. NW, has been under the original family ownership since its construction in 1870. It has housed historical figures, including Dr. George M. Kober, Walter Reed, and Lily Spandorf.
