Marcus & Millichap Arranges Sale of Wisconsin Dells Waterpark Hotel
Marcus & Millichap brokered the sale of Grand Marquis Waterpark Hotel & Suites, a 93-room hotel with an indoor and outdoor waterpark, located in Wisconsin Dells.
“This transaction created a rare opportunity to acquire a long-held asset, as the hotel had remained under original family ownership throughout its history,” said Jon Ruzicka, senior managing director of investments. The Grand Marquis Waterpark Hotel & Suites is situated on 3.19 acres at 840 Wisconsin Dells Parkway South. Built in 1994, the property features meeting and event space, water slides, family-style suites, an indoor hot tub, sauna and heated outdoor pool.
“As hospitality properties continue to evolve throughout Wisconsin Dells, our team is seeing increased demand from buyers seeking well-located resort and redevelopment opportunities,” said Raj H. Patel, associate investments. Ruzicka and Patel, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap’s Milwaukee and Minneapolis offices, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller and procured the buyer.
