Marcus & Millichap Arranges Sale of New Lenox Apartment Building

Marcus & Millichap closed the sale of an eight-unit apartment property located in New Lenox, Illinois. Ryan Engle, Andrean Angelov, and Zack Mahoney, out of the firm’s Chicago Oak Brook office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, a private investor. The buyer was also a private investor and was secured and represented by Engle and Angelov.

The multifamily building is located at 1010 Shagbark Road. The property has convenient access to Interstate 80, Route 52 and Route 30 and is two miles to the Laraway Road Metra station. The area is surrounded by numerous local and national retail and dining outlets.

The property is a part of New Lenox School District 122. Originally built in 1977, the property features all two-bedroom renovated units. Each unit features an in-unit washer and dryer, patio or balcony, new windows and door trims, and updated bathroom vanity and fixtures.
