Marcus & Millichap Arranges Sale of Multifamily Portfolio in Illinois

Marcus & Millichap announced the sale of a 134-unit multifamily portfolio in Berwyn and Maywood, Illinois.

“This transaction highlights the continued demand for multifamily assets in western Cook County, where investors remain attracted to strong suburban fundamentals and convenient access to Chicago,” said Sam Antreasian, director of investments. “By acquiring 134 units across five buildings in a single transaction, the buyer gains immediate scale with opportunities to unlock additional value through the portfolio’s diverse unit mix and upside potential.”

Antreasian, Ryan D. Engle and Andrean Angelov, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap’s Chicago Oak Brook office, procured the buyer, a private local investor with ambitious growth plans in the immediate market. The portfolio consists of five apartment buildings totaling 134 units across Berwyn and Maywood. The portfolio unit mix consists of 36 studios, 77 one-bedrooms, 20 two-bedrooms, and one office suite.
