Marcus & Millichap Arranges Sale of Chicago Mixed-Use Property

Marcus & Millichap arranged the sale of 5655 West Fullerton Avenue, a mixed-use property featuring 24 multifamily units and four retail suites, in the Belmont Cragin neighborhood of Chicago.

“Belmont Cragin continues to attract investor interest due to its strong transportation connectivity, with convenient access to Interstate 94, the Hanson Park Metra Station and downtown Chicago,” said Sam Antreasian, director of investments. Antreasian, Ryan D. Engle, and Andrean Angelov, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap’s Chicago Oak Brook office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller and procured the buyer, both of whom were private investors.

Built in 1970, the property features a mix of studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments, with 17 units renovated in the past five years, including a penthouse unit with a higher-end renovation and private outdoor deck. The 14,050-square-foot asset is located a half-mile from the Hanson Park Metra Station and approximately 10 miles from downtown Chicago.
