Marcus & Millichap Arranges $1.1M Sale of San Bernardino Retail Property
The Golden Sands Plaza, a 10,000-square-foot retail property in San Bernardino, CA has been sold for $1.1 million by a Northern California LLC in a transaction arranged by Marcus & Millichap’s Julia Evinger. The buyer, also a NorCal LLC, purchased the property as an up leg for their 1031 exchange.
Evinger, an investment specialist for Marcus & Millichap’s Indianapolis office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, with whom she’s worked with in several transactions across the country.
Golden Sands Plaza is located at 1090 W. Highland Ave. in San Bernardino and benefits from a signalized intersection in a high traffic corridor with easy access to Interstate 215. Evinger said in a news release, “The strip center features many long term, service oriented tenants with below market rents; is located in an Opportunity Zone, and is shadow anchored by the Home Depot in a commercial corridor.”
