Mapping Tech Company Takes 22K SF at University Research Park

Digital Map Products Inc. is relocating its headquarters to University Research Park, next to UC Irvine. The company, which provides geospatial mapping technology to real estate, government, and utilities users, inked a lease for 22,000 square feet and will occupy an entire floor formerly occupied by chipmaker Broadcom.

“With this move, we are excited about the opportunity to deepen our relationship with UC Irvine, one of the top research universities in the nation, adding to our ability to recruit and retain top talent,” said Jim Skurzynski, founder & CEO of Digital Map Products.

Today, more than 15% of Digital Map Products employees are UCI graduates.

Irvine Company Office Properties owns the 185-acre University Research Park. Home to more than 75 companies and 8,000 employees, the campus is currently 99% leased.
