Manulife Picks Up Tesla-Leased Warehouse in Taylor

Deals continue to thrive near the Taylor Samsung manufacturing plant, as investors continue to find promising opportunities within close proximity to the $17 billion chip campus.

Commercial Edge reports Manulife Investment Management acquired a 183,340-square-foot Class A industrial asset in Taylor, which is leased to Tesla for 10 years. Texas. BMO issued a three-year, fixed-rate $32.2 million acquisition note in a deal arranged by JLL. Partners Real Estate sold the facility.

Tesla and Samsung recently signed a $16.5 billion contract. The South Korean manufacturer will produce chips for Tesla at its forthcoming Taylor facility.

The warehouse is within RCR Taylor Logistics Park, a 750-acre master-planned industrial campus served by Union Pacific and BNSF. Completed in 2025, the facility features four dock-high doors and eight grade-level doors, five cranes and a rail entry linked to the RCR network.

JLL’s Melissa Rose, Jack Britton, Nicole Barba, and Preston Bacon represented Manulife in the debt acquisition.
