Manufacturer Haskris Expanding Footprint in Elmhurst

Haskris Co., a manufacturer and distributor of engineered chillers and heat transfer systems, has acquired an industrial building across the street from its Elmhurst headquarters for $5.5 million, which the company plans to expand into.

DarwinPW Realty/CORFAC International Managing Broker George Cibula and Associate Luke Ferzacca represented the sellers of the 37,136-square-foot industrial building at 737 N. Oaklawn Avenue in Elmhurst in its sale to Haskris. Joe Bronson of NAI Hiffman represented Haskris in the transaction.

“We were able to sell the building without ever putting it on the market,” said Ferzacca. “This sale shows the premium users are willing to pay for high-quality industrial assets, especially in a good location.”

The building has 13,920 square feet of office space that can be reduced, and it also has 14.5’ clear height, two exterior docks and one drive-in door. The building’s 2.94-acre site includes 60 parking spaces and a fenced outdoor storage yard.
