Manor Texas high-tech growth drawing interest of two hotel chains

Manor Texas Site for Two New Hotels

Manor has tripled in size since 2010. It’s location just outside Austin, where a number of high tech behemoths are setting up shop, has gotten the attention of the hospitality business. The city of Manor is gearing up to welcome two new hotels.

Houston-based Ultra Hospitality LLC is in the planning phase for the pair of hotels on a 6.1-acre lot in western Manor. This site will be under six miles from the existing Samsung Austin Semiconductor facility and less than 10 miles from the Tesla Gigafactory in the Del Valle area. The site is northwest of Gregg Manor Road and Genome Drive. The two hotels are a Hampton Inn & Suites and a Townplace Suites.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, Manor’s population has grown from 5,037 people in 2010 to an estimated 18,285 in 2021.
