Manhattan Office Building Visitation Rate Reaches 70%

The average Manhattan office visitation rate for October rose to 70%, up from 66% in September, according to the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY)’s monthly report analyzing data from 350 Manhattan office buildings through Placer.ai’s location data.

Notably, Class A+ properties surged to a remarkable 74%, an increase from 67% in September. The report also highlighted increases in visitation rates across various building classes, signaling a robust trend. Additionally, while variations exist between submarkets like Midtown, Midtown South, and Downtown, all areas demonstrated increased average visitation rates, a promising indicator for the city’s commercial real estate market.
