Managed Services Firm Signs Big Renewal in Stamford

Encompass Digital Media has renewed its 136,366-square-foot lease at Stamford, CT’s Shippan Landing. The six-building office complex on Stamford’s waterfront is owned by a joint venture of George Comfort & Sons and an affiliate of Rubenstein Partners, L.P.

The tenant is a global managed services company. Encompass has maintained a facility at Shippan Landing since 1994.

Located on a peninsula overlooking Long Island Sound and Stamford Harbor, the complex recently underwent a complete reimagining.

“Shippan Landing has always been special, and the work that has been done to improve the spaces and provide new, top-of-the-line amenities has only made it more so,” said Peter S. Duncan, president and CEO of George Comfort & Sons.

CBRE’s David Block, Steven Greenbush and Joe Coleman of CBRE represented Encompass. Duncan and George Comfort & Sons’ Dana Pike represented ownership with Cushman & Wakefield’s Trip Hoffman, Adam Klimek and Mike Norris.
