Mag Mile Capital Adds VP of Originations

Cody Harper has joined the Mag Mile Capital team as VP of originations and will be based out of the Chicago office. He’ll be responsible for originating and closing transactions for clients, providing capital advisory, as well as procuring new relationships for the firm.

“We are excited to welcome Cody Harper to our Chicago Originations team,” said Rushi Shah, principal & CEO of Mag Mile Capital. “Cody’s experiences as professional equity fundraiser as well as a direct lender in construction financing will be beneficial to both our team and clients.”

Harper’s analytical skills and relationship management acumen were sharpened in his previous roles in structured finance at DBRS, where he rated CMBS transactions, and in business advisory at Huron, where he delivered strategic finance and technology solutions to C-level executives across a spectrum of industries. He has also held capital markets roles at Citigroup, Capmark Finance and GMAC Commercial Mortgage.
