Madison International Realty, a real estate private equity firm, has announced the appointment of Mark Schein as its new managing director, chief operating officer, and general counsel. With over 25 years of experience in hedge fund management, legal compliance, and operational risk management, Schein will focus on Madison’s strategic platform initiatives, growth of relationships, corporate best practices, and processes.  

Schein’s previous experience includes working for several large-scale organizations such as Varde Partners and York Capital Management, where he served as the chief compliance officer for both firms. Schein will utilize his background to expand Madison’s capabilities and product offerings.
