Macquarie buys 509K-SF distribution warehouse in Humble

Macquarie Buys Fully Leased 509K-SF Houston Warehouse

Macquarie Asset Management completed the acquisition of 59 Logistics Center, a newly completed 509,600-square-foot distribution building near George Bush Intercontinental Airport in the Houston suburb of Humble. The Class A logistics building is fully leased to United Airlines on a long-term basis. Hunt Southwest was the seller.

Located at 17440 Highway 59, the recently built facility features a 36-foot clear height, 93 dock-level doors, four drive-in doors and parking for 119 trailers. United is in the process of adding significant tenant improvements to the building.

Hunt Southwest Real Estate Development, a Dallas-based developer of state-of-the-art industrial facilities, developed the property, leased it to United Airlines, and sold it to Macquarie. Nathan Wynne led a team that represented Hunt Southwest in the sale of the building.

The purchase includes nine acres of developable land suitable for parking or storage.
